Amanda Zoethout

Amanda’s enthusiasm in the field of holistic health has been a constant in her life, which in turn is reflected in her individual approach to each human being. Just like our personalities, life stressors, personal experiences and biology they’re all unique so why shouldn’t our approach to balance and health be looked at in the same way?

With over 5 years of combined studies and 2 diplomas from Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, Amanda is a Registered Acupuncturist of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Registered Massage Therapist.

Amanda has practiced in alternative healthcare for over 12 years and is certified in Clean Needle Technique and is an active member with the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA) and Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).

Amanda is well versed in finding balance through natural medicine and aspires to use these tools as a conduit for others. By promoting internal awareness and self care, she wants to support others in achieving their goals and reach their highest potential on all levels. We all have a unique and personal healing journey and she’d be humbled to share that journey with each of her patients.

Thalia Christou

Thalia grew up in Banff and is passionate about exploring the outdoor environment as well as the internal environment of the body. This led her to study Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture where she graduated from Pacific Rim College in 2017. She uses acupuncture, massage, cupping and gua sha to restore the body’s innate intelligence to heal itself and sustain health and harmony. What attracted Thalia to Chinese Medicine was its holistic nature in that it treats the body, mind and spirit. Everything is connected and she is interested in finding and treating the root of health problems. Thalia has experience treating digestive problems, menstrual disorders, chronic and acute pain in the body, stress, anxiety and depression, as well as helping women with their health through pregnancy. Thalia also practices acu-sculpting cosmetic acupuncture which can help firm, lift, tighten and shape the skin on the face and body, targeting cellulite and sagging skin as well as facial rejuvenation.
